Last December 2017, LIFE HEALTHY FOREST project organised its fifth coordination meeting as well as the third monitoring encounter in Arkaute, Spain. During the first session on December 13th, representatives from the four project beneficiaries –NEIKER, Instituto Vasco de Investigación y Desarrollo Agrario, Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena, Fundación Hazi Fundazioa and Desarrollo de Estrategias Exteriores- discussed and presented the progress being made in the last period and took decisions for the upcoming months. The partnership also reviewed the main aspects regarding project management and coordination, including financial performance as well as main communication activities. Next project meeting, hosted by DEX Group, will be organised in Asturias in mid-April 2018.
The day after, December 14th, the partnership welcomed Ms. Itxaso Mora from the LIFE External Monitoring Team for the third monitoring meeting. As in the previous visits, partners presented Itxaso the project progress and had the opportunity to ask her some questions. Afterwards, representatives from the coordinating beneficiary conducted a visit to the NEIKER’s Greenhouse and the Lab.
